Focus on innovation and constant attention at all stages: from the vineyard to the cellar up to the action promotional and marketing. Farmers and especially wine producers, firmly rooted in the territory, are a key lever for the development of the ecosystem as well as an irreplaceable business card for those who appreciate the link between products and Tuscan territory.
So Giovanni Busi, President of the Consorzio Vino Chianti: “From three years Consorzio and Banca Mps sign packages” of measures for growth “, with a value of 10 million euro, in support of the Chianti wine producers. An agreement which means practical help for the entire wine industry: with this operation we continue to allocate more resources for investment to 360 degrees. You have to consider that many of our plants are to be renewed completely, many of our producers also require major structural renovations. These new funds are a support for a very important sector, stressed from a long economic crisis, so that producers may start with greater competitiveness.
“One of the missions of Banca Mps is the attention to the wineries– says Gianfranco Cenni, Head of the District Area linked up with the Florence office- and the wine industry is one of the symbols of the productivity and Italian style, which has in Tuscany one of most excellent places. So we have chosen to support the Consorzio Vino Chianti along with other associations for the protection of Tuscany “.
The agreement provides for a line of credit for planting and replanting of vineyards, a line dedicated to the ageing of wines, one for the purchase of machinery for the processing of the vineyards and the cellar equipment and one for the advance of production costs.
